Glass and nature, another hard and fragile, another diverse, colorful and lively. How to capture nature in the shape of a glass while still preserving the features of the product. From these starting points, I designed Picea, a glass spruce, to brighten every long and coming winter.

Picea is a mold blown glass light. Its sand-blasted surface gives a soft light, reminiscent of the frosty forest glittering in the lunar winters. Spruce has a special place in Finnish culture and in nature, especially during the Christmas.
